Does this come with any filters?

That is a good question. This unit comes with the initial filter so you can start using the unit immediately. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact our consumer relations team by emailing us at SocialSupport@HelenofTroy.com. Thank you.

Has anyone had the filter just fall off the connector? It's happened several times when water pressure comes thru. It's installed correctly.

This has happened to me multiple times. It's gotten to the point that I don't use it anymore and buy water until I can purchase a system that works. Now that I read that this has happened to others, I will try calling PUR to get the adapter. Has anyone had the problem with the water either not coming out or barely trickling, if you turn on the sink without the filter switched on?

is there any filtering Difference between the horizontal and vertical styles?

Thank you for your inquiry. There is no functional difference between the horizontal and vertical styles, only aesthetic differences. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact our consumer relations team by emailing us at SocialSupport@HelenofTroy.com. Thank you.

Do the instructions say to turn the filter off when turning the hot water on or the filter would get ruined quickly with hot water?

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, turn the filter mode off before using hot water. Hot water will damage the filter and cause you to need to replace it. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact our consumer relations team by emailing us at SocialSupport@HelenofTroy.com. Thank you.
