This is such a lovely product, you apply to your dry hair and massage it in. I'm concerned about a thinning hair lined at the front section of my head. It feels amazing applying it and the smell might not be for everyone. I felt it smells like coco butter, not my favourite but acceptable. When you have given yourself a good massage which increases circulation in your scalp, you just add water and use as your 1st hair wash. Then proceed with your 2nd wash and finish with conditioner or hair mask. Im on my 2nd tub now. I haven't noticed any improvement in hair growth, but wouldn't expect to. I just love the process and the value is good, I got about 5/ 6 treatments from 1 pot. Lovely for giving yourself some self care. Highly recommend it.

Wow! I hardly ever write reviews as I'm too lazy, but I am so impressed with this scrub! I have always struggled with itchy, dry and flaky scalp. Thought I would try this product and after just one use, my scalp looks and feels so much better! I can't say much about the hair growth yet, but I am currently battling post partum hair loss so fingers crossed. I can't believe it has taken me 35 years and I have finally found a product that works for me - I wish I had found this years ago 😅

Really nice on the scalp, plus it's vegan & cruelty free, package arrived intact. Doesn't smell of coffee, smells really nice...seen some improvement, however massaging the scalp nightly has been helping to wake up the follicles to produce more hair to areas with less hair. The scrub and massaging works well. Would recommend.

This scalp scrub left my hair feeling clean and soft. The smell is quite strong and I'm not keen on it as I don't like coffee, however once it's been rinsed off you can't smell it. I don't know if it will help my hair grow, but it definitely gets rid of product build up and lathers up well.

Bought after the brand was recommended to me by a friend. So far really pleased with this product- I do oil masks pre-hair wash and this scrub gets all the oil out of my hair perfectly. Good product to use before shampooing. A little goes a long way, has lasted me several months! Has a very nice smell too.

when you first open this product it appears oily but its amazing. I used it after spraying dry shampoo and it successfully got rid of all remnants of powder. the only thing I'd say is make sure you fully rinse out and use conditioner on the bottom half of your hair. smells yummy as well.

So I will admit when I use it my hair does feel soft however it doesn’t clean my hair properly. I will dry my hair and there’s clumps where it is stuck together and greasy, I do use it after a hair oil and other scrubs clean my hair and my normal shampoo does however this just doesn’t get it all out. I am gutted as I was hoping for good things, I am going to try it without hair oil and see if that’s any better, fingers crossed it is!

I brought this after seeing the great reviews. I suffer from build up on my scalp and I've tried many shampoos and treatments to cure it so I thought I would give this a go. It smells good and it does scrub my scalp but I have to use a scalp brush to make it work. I don't know if I would repurchase again. It makes my hair very dry and I personally think you can get the same result with just using a scalp brush which will last forever, plus its probably cheaper too.

I want to start by saying I’m giving this five stars based on first impression of ease of use, scent, consistency, and immediate results - not based on long term results. I will update my review after a few more uses. That being said, this was my first scalp scrub- purchased based on novice research. I have a lot of color treated , dry hair that won’t seem to grow past my shoulders and recently decided to switch up my routine. A scalp scrub was suggested and I was intrigued by this one as it had a good rating, was safe for color and was 1/3 the price of some others. It arrived quickly( 3 days), comes in a tub that is easy to open. And I didn’t have to bring tools to the shower to open it. The consistency was that of a good quality salt scrub, pretty thick and at first I thought I might use the whole tub in one use. The scent is interesting , but not unpleasant… it’s like a clean- coffee- with a hint of sea salt smell.. I had to remind myself that was the energizing caffeine hard at work! I would suggest getting your hair very wet and beginning with the nape of your neck, then working your way to the front.. I actually used it twice and tried two techniques and I think the back to front method uses less product and was a more effective method of scrubbing. I loved that once the scrub was on my scalp and I began the massage it gave a nice lather- not too rich, but enough to feel like it was cleansing my hair. It rinsed completely and after conditioning and blow drying , my scalp and hair did feel refreshed and energized. For the price and convenience I was really happy with this scrub. Time will tell if it actually helps my hair growth journey, but for now I’ll keep it in my weekly routine.
