Benefits The liquid contains diphenhydramine which is an antihistamine which aids a restful helping your body to recover it also acts to dry secretions in the nose and chest. Guaifenesin (an expectorant) to help loosen mucus (phlegm) from the chest and make it easier to up, and levomenthol which helps you breathe more easily by relieving congestion. Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •You have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients •You are taking, or have taken in the last two weeks, drugs for depression known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs). •Talk to your doctor or cist: if you suffer from liver or kidney problems, if you have prostate problems (difficulty with passing water or needing to pass water often), if you have narrow-angle glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye), if you have had a for a few weeks that may be caused by asthma, or a which brings up a lot of mucus (phlegm) •This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. •Avoid alcoholic drink. •Please consult your cist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or feeding. •Please consult your cist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be ic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your cist. Product Specification Active ingredients: 5ml of Benylin Mucus Night contains 14 mg Diphenhydramine hydrochloride, 100 mg Guaifenesin and 1.1 mg Levomenthol. Other ingredients: Liquid glucose, sucrose, ethanol, glycerol, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, citric monohydrate, sodium benzoate (E211), caramel (E150), raspberry essence, natural sweetness enhancer, carbomer, Ponceau 4R (E124) and water.
