Fire Extinguisher, Standard Home Use

A great product for an even better price! Without question, I will always buy my fire extinguishers from this seller. They are dependable and the perfect size. I put one in my kitchen and one in my garage by the gas heater so that I am covered in case of electrical, wiring, or gas fire. It is easy to use, just remember PASS. Point, Aim, Spray and Spread the stream of fire retardant. It is the thing to remember when using any home fire extinguisher. Easy mounting, easy to handle, easy to take with you if you want it in your camper, truck or car. I have never experienced any leakage at all, very dependable product and seller!

You will be very glad you have this if a small-to-medium fire ever starts in your kitchen or apartment. Think about it: fires don’t announce themselves in advance. Grease fires, electrical fires, and small appliance mishaps happen quickly — its a stunning event and relying solely on 911 means waiting while damage spreads. Having a UL-rated 1-A:10-B:C extinguisher on hand gives you an immediate first line of defense. Incredibly this unit can be recharged if *hopefully* it sits long enough unused. It even shows when it needs a recharge. I checked, and it is designed for home compliance standards (although I don't know who sets those standards). But that it meets those standards makes it a responsible addition to any apartment or house. It’s one of those inexpensive items you hope never to use — but if you ever need it, you’ll be grateful it’s within reach. Preparation beats luck every time.

Good fire extinguisher good Price

Excellent product and great peace of mind. The First Alert Fire Extinguisher for Home is solid, reliable, and easy to understand, even for someone with no prior experience. It feels well built and sturdy, and the clear instructions make it simple to use in an emergency. I really appreciate that it’s UL rated and rechargeable, which adds confidence in its quality and long-term value. It mounted easily and fits perfectly in a convenient location without being intrusive. This is one of those products you hope you never need, but it’s comforting to know it’s there and dependable. Highly recommend for every home.

Compact and Practical Fire Safety for the Home This First Alert rechargeable fire extinguisher feels like a solid step up from the typical disposable ones you see at big box stores. It’s not overly large—easy enough to stash in a laundry room, garage, or under the kitchen sink—but still has a reassuringly sturdy build. The red metal canister and clear gauge give it a professional, ready-for-use appearance. What I appreciate most is that this isn’t a “one-and-done” product. Since it’s rechargeable, you’re not forced to toss it after a single use. That makes it more cost-effective over time and feels better from a sustainability perspective. The UL rating (1-A:10-B\:C) means it covers common household fires—wood/paper, flammable liquids, and electrical—so it’s versatile enough for general home protection. The included mounting bracket is a nice touch, though it’s fairly basic. If you want something more secure, especially in a garage or workshop, you might look for a heavier-duty bracket. One small drawback: the handle and trigger are plastic, not metal. For light home use, that’s fine, but in harsher environments I’d want something more rugged. Bottom line: A reliable, reasonably compact extinguisher that provides peace of mind for everyday household safety. Worth having at least one—ideally more than one—in different parts of the home.

Appears to be a good product and it should work well.

ordered two of these, great price

Unit appears well made and is easily mounted in its wall holder. A good item for small fires. The internal pressure gauge is easily read. Mine is located next to the furnace room. I have not needed to use it and will upgrade my evaluation if needed. As of now I recommend it.
