This dry bag backpack is pretty good. I bought the 20L bag for doing water-related field work and it’s quite large. The shoulder straps are fairly comfortable but I always get sand in the mesh fabric. The sand doesn’t shake out easily so you’re dragging and spreading sand everywhere. Since the bag is large, it could use an inside pocket for storing keys or other items needing quick accesibility (stuff gets lost is such a large bag!). The little pocket in the front is not waterproof. It filled with water when the bag went in the water with me. Good news is that the main compartment remained dry! The material is nice for repelling water, but in the heat and sunlight items inside the bag bake. My chapstick melted and made a mess after one day being outside. I’m not sure if black was the best color choice, but the heat absorption is probably more about the material than the color. We have a few dry bag backpacks and the price for this bag is a little more expensive than other dry bag backpacks of the same size. I would recommend this product with the caveat that it’s a small oven in the heat and the little front pocket is not watertight.

No complaints whatsoever. Bought this before going to costa rica and got a lot of use out of this bag. Front pocket wasn't 100% waterproof but that didn't really matter much. Would buy again!

Held up and kept our cell phones, keys, snacks, and clothing dry and safe like a champ even after several overturns of our inner tubes in the river rapids!Thanks Dry Creek!

I got this bag for canoeing to keep wallet, car key remote, and some clothes dry. I found it’s really comfortable to use as a pack. The carabiner and bottle opener attached are handy! I got the 20L size and found it’s got plenty roomy to hold everything I wanted.
