Does it have a bitter taste? My cat foams at the mouth with Flagyl so I'm looking into an alternative dewormer.

Did it work ?? My cats are not happy with flagyl ?

what kind of worms does this treat? Does it treat tapeworm as well as roundworms?

According to the web, it will treat whipworms, hookworms, roundworms and tapeworms. It is even effective at fighting giardia.

Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?

No, it does not have to be refrigerated. :-)

Does this work on Barber Pole Worms?

No it does NOT. The only wormers that work for barber pole worm are off label. Ivermectin, moxidectin or levamasole. Ivermectin sees more resistance than the others. Moxidectin is the best option usually. Quest horse wormer 1cc per 100 lbs or cydectin cattle pour on orally, 4cc per 100 lbs as it is more diluted. If your goats need copper bolusing the worms will keep coming back. Safeguard *is* used sometimes *with* moxidectin when you have worms resistant to moxidectin. The combo helps bolster then moxidectin.
