Simple and fun games for young kids
This game is really simple to play and should have taken a matter of minutes to set up, were it not for the, incredibly difficult to undo, screw on the battery compartment. It was so tight that I had to dig my heavy duty screwdriver out of the drawer! Once opened the cow needs 3 AAA batteries (not supplied). Apart from attaching the cows ears and tail, everything is ready to go. Essentially you draw cards which will have between 1 and 3 clover symbols, possibly a dandelion or there's one poo card. Get a dandelion and you have to press the cow's head, with it's reaction determining what happens next. It might parp, sigh or let out a short or long sneeze (which is when the bubbles appear). The cow has a child's voice and will chatter away to itself if nobody has pressed it for a while. It's great for young kids but it did get annoying fairly quickly. However it's a quick game so even if you are annoyed it won't be for long. The game includes a pot of bubble mix and you don't need much for a game. The bubbles it produces are very small and quite "wet" so either play outdoors or be prepared to mop your surfaces/floor once you're done. This is a fun game, for smaller children, but it does rely on the novelty factor and once that's worn off it may never come out of the cupboard again. At £19.99, at time of review, it's probably what I'd expect to pay for a game and it is good quality, I just don't see it having massive longevity, which impacts it's value for money.

Great Fun for Young Kids, but May Lose its Novelty Quickly
Pros: That this game does not involve complicated setup which is great. I was able to have it up and running fairly quickly with minimal preparation, so that was great for our family game nights. The cow is super cute and really took my daughters in right away. Because of the cuteness of it, the appeal came off immediately to the little ones. These bubbles were quite a hit in our house. The kids were thrilled by them floating around and added so much fun to our playtime as a family. I liked that the game was fairly easy to understand. My youngest child can understand it, which makes it very fit for our family game sessions for kids aged 3 and upwards. We enjoyed this game in a small group; it made everybody take turns and interact with each other. It was nice to see the children together, participating and having fun. Cons: The game was quite entertaining, though after some rounds, I found the excitement began to subside. The novelty of the bubbles and the cow's reactions didn't quite keep the kids hooked for that long. They were quite small and fairly wet bubbles, so it meant cleaning up afterward. It is far better suited for outside play or I did need to account for a mess indoors. It doesn't get much use after the novelty has worn off. It's entertaining for a couple of rounds, and kids lose interest pretty fast, so it is not something that will become a regular in our family game nights. Verdict: Generally, I had fun playing this, especially when my daughters enjoyed the blowing of bubbles and the silly noises. Easy to set up, great for quick, interactive play for our family time. The novelty may wear off after a couple of plays, so fun to add to our collection, but perhaps not one that would see high levels of repeated play. Great at adding something special to a party or for a short, fun blast, but not for keeping children's attention for a longer period of time.

This is a fun game for children. I got it for my grandson & we play it together. Each game lasts less than ten minutes. It's not too messy to pour in & out the bubbles. You will want to play it in an area that you don't mind bubbles flowing into. It does let out a good bit of bubbles when each game is ending & a few in between. I also suggest you set it on a towel because the surface will get wet as well. Especially, of it isn't sitting at the end of a table or surface. It's an overall pretty fun game. You'll need to empty out the bubbles & dry it each time as much as possible as well. It can get a bit messy. But, with adult supervision it's not so bad. Fairly easy to understand how to play so little ones can play with a little help counting their clovers at the end. A good game for teaching little ones to count. My 7 year old grandson loves it also.

My kids (3, 5, 7) love this game. It is simple enough for toddlers and entertaining for the whole family. It is simple to set up, and our most played family game, completely worth purchasing. Our three year old often wins, because winning is really just up to chance rather than skill. It is nice and sturdy. We put down a paper towel in front of it to avoid the mess.
