can one bathe instead of shower

I used my cover in the shower with a shower chair (we have a shower stall separate from the tub). I believe that a bath would cause it to leak if in the tub for long. There is an "aquatic" type cast cover that would be better for bathing.

Could you go mid calf in a pool or lake & remain dry?

The integrity of the item is on the rubber elastic seal on your lower thigh. That said, it you make sure the seal is completely up and a snap the band to secure. It will maintain s static positions like standing in the shower. If you submerge your leg in water it will blow up from the air it and may compromise the seal.

Is the hole adjustable? I have very skinny legs.

The hole adjusts itself to your leg because it's elastic... My moms leg is very skinny and no water goes through at all, and it doesn't feel that it's strangling circulation either!The hole Of the elastic where you put your leg through measures 5.5 cms , so as long as your leg is bigger than that you won't have a problem

I am 5' 2", will this fit me? I have a severly broken ankle in a splint, for the next 8 weeks.

I'm 5'6" and weight 230 pounds. The elastic at the top of the bag fits so tight that no water can get inside. It doesn't fit so tight that it hurts though. I sure am glad I bought it. I'm able to take showers now instead of sponge baths!
