I am using this surfactant as an adjuvant when mixing nearly everything I apply around the house and yard. I maintain a 4 acre yard with 1400 feet of driveway and 100's of feet of garden edge/space. Around the house perimeter, a variety of natural repellants and insecticides are periodically applied to reduce a constellation of pests. Since surfactant is a baseline ingredient for all ALL of these solutions, we are constantly on the lookout for surfactant in gallon volumes and reasonable pricing. I have used this surfactant in everything (pesticide, aromatic repellant, post-emergents, fungicide, mildewcide, etc) with success. For around the home, this brand seems equivalent or better than other brands that I have used over the last 20 years keeping up the property. NOTE: I do not have a food/vegetable garden and have not used this brand surfactant for that purpose. Will definitely look into the availability of this brand when the next gallon is needed.

Makes many gallons

Mixed with 2-4-d herbicide to kill weeds in lawn. Seemed to work as advertised, weeds killed and didn't comeback. Will update next Spring after next application.

I did a same day, same weather test of three patches of Arizona yard which is covered with 3/4 to 1" gravel pit rock. I used 41% glyphosate mixed as directed on label. One patch I did with nothing by glyphosate, one with this surfactant mixed according to directions and one patch with 2 drops of blue Dawn dish washing detergent/gallon of city water on the same type weeds. The winner was blue Dawn at a cost of about 1¢ (a guess) judged by beginning of plant wilt and final kill. This surfactant came in 2nd and glyphosate without additive third. The differences were separated only by about three days each. I'll save the money next time and just us blue Dawn.

This is a MUST have additive if you are spraying selective herbicide like PAR3 or FiESTA on your lawn. Sticks to the leaves of weeds like GLUE!
