what is the internal height of the tray?

About 0.5cm. Think of it as being rimless - the small rim just gives it a bit of rigidity. It's a sheet not a tray.

Would this tray be good enough to make macarons on or it too thin and flimsy

No not good enough for macarons as does warp a little with heat. Fine for everyday use

is this teflon-coated?

Not sure if Teflon but definitely non stick. I like it
