The wool is more durable than the wool from the previous brands I have used. This wool does not separate into small clumps. I got good results on preparing surfaces between coats of finish and for evening out semi-gloss finishes. Nice packaging. Keep them in a ziplock for storage. 0000 will rust quickly if left exposed to air.

Use this on the shrine on my Harley. Works like a charm with a little cleaner/oil of your choice. Some say use Coca Cola, some wd40, I’m pretty sure whatever it is mostly just lubricates the steel wool. Good price and value here.

These are excellent pads. I have several uses for them. I use them to plug up holes in my floor around the plumbing and heating pipes so mice etc. can't crawl through. Works perfectly. I also use them on an old tile floor to scrape up the wax when cleaning them with ammonia. I use them to fine sand wood when refinishing. The 0000 is fine enough that there are no splinters in my hands or scratches on the wood.

Super effective in cleaning hard stains to my pots and pans. Easy to use and all dirt sticks to it but you have to dispose this wool pads after one use because it is not reusable.

They are perfect for little jobs. I use them to clean silver rods mostly and they're just perfectly sized for the task.

Received well packed and in forecast. Delivered in ideal sized pads. Used them for burnishing oak tabletop after application of hard wax oil. Was a bit early on doing this, but left a couple of days for oil to cure off and worked a treat to give smooth, high sheen finish.The pack size and quantity was more than enough to finish a 1200 x 600 table and have plenty left for future use.
