Misleading ad
Advertisement stated it came with gasket. It does not. Only the rubber grommet. Gasket cost me an additional $10.

a little slow to open or close
works but slower than the original , slow to open or close bench tested with a quality thermometer.next time I'll buy the original or the sierra brand.

Maybe mine was defective?
It fits well, but it got stuck open after the first use. I replaced it with one I purchased from a local marine shop, and it's been working since. Maybe mine was defective. I did not contact customer support, just because of the hassle, though I'm sure a replacement would have been easy.
