purchased this before the holidays and we used it to the max for all of our cooking needs. We used all the different blades and options that came with the product. I only wish we had an option to get the dough blade as this version does not come with the dough blade and I can't find out how to purchase just the dough blade. Excellent power and performs as advertised.

Thos product was so complicated me or my daughter could not figure it out. Lots of money with the blade used the most missing. So many pieces to put together to make it work and no 0k top was very fragile.

My husband is a Foodie so he is always trying new recipes and new kitchen "contraptions". Yesterday he gave me a tutorial on how to use this food processor as I am finding that I am using it more often than I thought I would and he's tired of setting it up for me! ;) I feel confident that I can do it myself now, so 5 stars for ease of use and safety features! It is also easy to clean. We have used it to make a variety of things from the yolk filling for deviled eggs, sliced veggies, and even biscuit dough. Our only complaints are veggies getting stuck at the top when using the slicing function and stuff getting stuck under the blade with the mixing function. Other than that, it's our new favorite toy.

I love how big this is! I have a large family, so having appliances I can fit everything into in one go is fantastic. Can't go wrong with a KitchenAid. Just be careful of the blades. My knuckle brushed up against one and it cut. :) UPDATE: We've had this appliance for over a year now, and it still works fabulously.

I was very excited to be replacing my 6 cup Cuisinart food processor with this 13 cup KitchenAid model. My Cuisinart lasted for many years. The KitchenAid model seemed well thought out. All the parts and accessories store in the bowl. The top seemed a little flimsy, as it used plastic joints to hold the lid to the bowl. On my 3rd, shredding a block of cheese, the KitchenAid had a catastrophic failure. The entire thing destroyed itself!! Somehow the plastic gears that connect the motor to the bowl sheered off. The gears for the grating disc broke in half and the point of contact between the shaft and lid broke as well. Hopefully this model was just defective. I haven’t seen something so poorly and cheaply made, from a brand that mades many long-lasting, dependable appliances, like my KitchenAid mixer. For $200, I expected a much better product from this product.
