Yonaka Coilovers - 1996-2000 Honda Civic EK Yonaka part# YMTC002-R Yonaka Motorsports Race coilovers for all 1996-2000 Honda Civics. This is a modified version of our popular Civic coilovers with significantly stiffer springs and a heavy duty dampener. These coilovers are setup out of the box for FWD drag racing. The 18KG rear springs are incredibly stiff, designed to prevent rear ''squat'' on hard launch. For road racing, the lower perches would need to be swapped in order to run the 18kg springs in the front and 12kg springs in the rear for more neutral handling. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES would these coilovers be suitable for use on a vehicle to be used on public roads or highways. Fits: 1996-2000 Honda Civic (all models) Featuring: All Aluminum Upper s ~3-4'' height adjustment travel distance Fully threaded mono tube shock absorber (17% larger piston diameter than our street coilovers) Inner bump stop to prevent damage caused by rapid compression impacts Wide range of height adjustment without changing the spring compression Bottom of the shock is threaded to allow height adjustments without having to shorten the suspension travel Rubber dust shield protecting piston for long life Spring rates: Front springs: 12kg / 180mm Rear springs: 18kg / 200mm
