Can you add a drop of this to a coke to give it a whiskey coke flavor?

I imagine so. I add a bottle of it to 750 liqour bottle of distlled water for a flavoring mixture that looks and smells like whiskey. Straight it tastes like extremely watered down whiskey, but it works well in coke.

can this used with higher than 50% spirit?

Yes. The product is intended to be used with 40% spirit so you might need to add a bit more of the flavoring. I'm told that a small pinch of cinnamon is also helpful for getting the 'Old #7' flavor. If you are wanting something like the single barrel select (47%), add slightly less elixer than the suggested addition then up it bit by bit to get the flavor profile you are wanting.
