Super sound, comfort and price.
I had certain requirements after reading about a variety of headphones. I didn't need a mic, they had to be over the ear not on the ear, clear sound, adjustable headband and wired so I didn't have to use or charge batteries. This headphone checked all the boxes and it just happened to be a company I was familiar with Panasonic. They came today and I'm totally pleased. The sound on my laptop was so low but now I actually had to turn it down. They are very comfortable and super easy to adjust. I could wear them all day. Read about this one. You can get it with a mic if you want. I couldn't ask for a better headphone for listening on my laptop.

Good headphones
Helped me realize that my new phone's sound system is low quality, weak, if not defective. These headphones sound sweet with my old phone and EQ. I do mean "sweet," smooth as silk to my ears with default settings. I think that most cell phones will not even come close to fulfilling the potential sound quality of these headphones. I tested these with Foxx and TCL/Alcatel Android smart phones. Also, I admit that my previous experiences with 40-50mm driven Pioneer, Sony and JVC (HA-RX700) headphones that costed 2 or even 3 times as much have spoiled me. So, for me, the XBS feature isn't quite adequate. I like a little extra boom and pow with the music. Even with max bass boost, these headphones just don't do it for me. Still, I'm getting better sound with these than with other headphones at this price-point, and the best midrange I've experienced at any price-point. I also hear subtle sounds in my favorite tracks that I didn't hear before at any volume or with any EQ settings I used. So, sweet, smooth and clean sound, impeccably balanced frequency response on all bands, no distortion up to 100% volume, and good passive noise isolation. Also, a cord that's long enough I can enjoy media comfortably at one or two arm lengths, but not so long that I have to worry about stepping on the cable. One loop of the cord around my forearm as I hold my phone like normal is sufficient to take out such excessive slack. It's the best cord length I've had the pleasure of using so far. My initial review was very critical, I was about to throw these headphones in the trash, because it was my new phone, not these headphones, that was defective. I am glad that I gave these a chance on my older phone because it has more features for adjusting the sound. Turned out, these headphones are good even on default settings, nothing fancy, when plugged into a sound system that functions properly. Two thumbs up but 4 stars because XBS inspires an option impression of extra bass right out of the box, but what we actually get is the subtle but present and smooth feature of extended bass response, even to frequency range below the lowest frequency (31-70hz) most devices will reproduce smoothly anyway. For that, I am impressed. If you want bass that will thump and tickle your tympanic membrane, pay more and get some 50mm driven JVC headphones for $40 on the low end. If you want clean, smooth, undistorted sound with frequency response wider than other headphones (including JVC, Sony, Pioneer, even some Bose models), you just can't beat these headphones, especially for the price.

I am happy with these.
Wanted to try something different from the other headphones I usually buy. So far I really like the comfort factor. They sit over the ear instead of on it. The headband is moderately thin and lightweight. I like the cord length, can set my tablet on the kitchen counter and move further away without yanking the cord out. Can't speak about the sound quality, I have tinnitus and my hearings damaged. Sounds about the same as the other budget brand I usually buy.

Headphones work, but nothing premium about them
I ordered these headphones to replace some from a different brand that are falling apart. These work as they should. I like the long cord. I can listen to TV and Movie dialog and hear everything just fine. These are kind of a "get what you pay for" thing. Even though they are "over the ear" headphones, they aren't cushy or even very comfortable. The sound quality has pretty much no bass. The padding on the headphones is hard and plastic with pretty much no cushion. In short, they work as headphones. They aren't expensive and it shows but they do the trick for what I bought them for. If you're an audiophile, then pass on these. If you just want to hear dialog these will do the trick.

The Headphones Work With A Variety Of Devices
The Panasonic over-the-ear wired headphones are lightweight and won't slip off the way some on-ear headphones do, and they block out external sounds better than many wired in-ear earbuds do. For me, they fit just right, not too small or too large, but they are adjustable for people of different head sizes. Not that it's important, but I also tested them with a baseball cap, and they work, wearing the cap either under or over the headphones. The 6 feet cord is what I needed most though, because I will be using the headphones outdoors with a metal detector that has a 3.5 mm (millimeter) jack, which I have tested for compatibility, and they work just fine. The headphones also work with my AM/FM radio and laptop. Panasonic makes similar headphones with a built-in microphone, and they are in my shopping list, to be used with my laptop, which I will use for recording speech and doing speech-to-text work. I recommend these headphones to others, especially if you need something dependable and sturdy that will wear well over time and work with a variety of devices.

Mediocre sound quality
These work, but the sound quality is disappointing. Get what you pay for.
