When you sprinkle he contents onto the food dose it increase cats appetite / liking for food ?

I crush it and mix it with the food They eat it better that way. It doesn't affect appetite

Does this item contain any form of sugar?

The composition is listed as: Fructo-oligosaccharide, gelatin capsule, magnesium stearate. Additives: gut flora stabilisers, Protexin probiotic, Enterococcus Faecium. Technological Additives: Acacia-gum Arabic (Preplex prebiotic) Hope that helps. Really helps our Boxer when he has an upset gut.

What does the D-C stand for and is this much the same as the Probalance tablet ?

The D-C stands for daily capsule. Synbiotic D-C contains similar ingredients to Pro-Balance, but it contains a higher concentration of Enterococcus faecium probiotics, and comes in the form of a capsule rather than a chewable tablet.

Is this the same as Pro kaolin Enterogenic powder but in tablet form ?

No it's a pre and probiotic. Probitic I think needs a prebiotic to feed on. Helps to restore the flora of the Bowel. I'm not an expert but as I have used this product many times for my cats I always use it for digestive problems. They are capsules which easily open to sprinkle on food. Best to get advice from a vet.
