Great product
Bought this to rain proof a part of my tent which kept letting small droplets of water in. It was easy to use and dried in no time at all. The rain now beads on the surface and no more drips inside the tent. As I had some of this leftover, I also reproofed my waterproof jacket and walking boots, and again it was easy to use and the rain just beads on the surface. I would say to use this outside as the spray can also fall on the floor (I have wooden floors) and it becomes very slippy.

Used on Goretex jacket
So I bet you read the title and thought "what a whopper" haha. Well basically I relegated my old (10 years) Berghaus Jacket which I used for hiking into a fishing jacket because it was either that or lob it in the bin. I tried Nikwax , which is actually a good product, but due to the age of the jacket I needed something more robust as this didn't last long out in the rain. I washed it on it's own in the machine on the required setting with a tiny amount of washing powder ( no sofners) and left afterwards to dry naturally, although you could if you wanted to put it in a drier on low heat you could. When dry, I applied the spray evenly across the jacket working in sections until all areas were covered and the jacket looked slightly wet/saturated to make sure it was on there good and proper. I then placed the jacket on a clothes air drier/maiden , and then using a hair drier on full heat I went over each section until I was satisfied it was dry. At the time of writing this review I've not actually tried the coat in the rain, but I did try a section of the jacket under running tap water and as expected the droplets rolled straight off. I suspect any breathability that was left in the jacket has now gone and I've turned my gortex jacket into a posh looking cagoule, which for me this is fine because as stated before this is now a fishing jacket. I'll update my review if it ends up a big fail after using my jacket in the rain.

Not the best I've used.
Bit disappointed with this product. I've definitely used better, more effective water proof sprays and they weren't any more expensive. The spray worked well and the product was easy to apply with a good aerosol jet, but I can't say it actually did anything judging by how wet our teenage boys school bags and jackets were following the first heavy rain. I wouldn't buy it again.

Waterproofed a very old tent..
Waterproofed a rather porous thirty year old tent with no issue and has survived several downpours as well as a proper hosing (to test it initially). After spraying, it dried off within a few hours.
