I bought this to measure the temperature of my new Stove Log Burner. It does this perfectly and I can sit in my chair to monitor the temperature of the stove, this is important to make sure it is burning hot enough to not produce residue in the flue. What I hadn't realised is I can use it to find drafts around windows and doors and thus being able to add extra draft excluder to reduce these, making a big difference to my heating bill. The unit comes with a very informative manual that is easy to understand and runs through each function. It's a lot smaller than it looks in the picture and comes with a 9V battery. The screen is very clear and with big digits that are easy to read with a built in back lit colour screen and all comes in a very nice case. I would recommend this unit.

Seems to do what it's meant to do. Not to sure on the accuracy though. As this is hard to confirm. Measurements below zero seem a little hit or miss as it suggests my freezer is operating at minus 34c which is completely wrong. But my oven correct.

I had my doubts about this, but after damaging probe thermometers, I decided to give this a go. The temperature was cross checked for a while until I realised that it was safe to rely on the results. It was accurate. The Hygrometer is very useful. I am amazed by the accuracy and easy of use. It even has a probe attachment for inner material readings. A good buy.

Good product overall but, far to complicate to use.

Bought this as replacement for one that did not work. This had more features than the other one and so far seems to work and very accurate. Great delivery service once again from Amazon.

I work in construction, every now and again have to test rooms for holding heat so have various kit plus thermometers so that not just one thing ie. a standard thermometer plus one built in to a humidity meter , a digital one and this one which has failed. Nothing now works, all are way off. Used it once in the first 3 months, and 5 times now the cold weather has arrived so a very expensive piece of Chinese junk.

so weit ich es vergleichen konnte, stimmen die Messwerte sehr gut (Temp., Luftfeuchtigkeit). Durch die Einstellung des Emmisionsgrades ist es auch für fast alle Oberflächen geeignet. Andere Geräte haben nur einen fest definierten Emmisionsgrad von 0,95 eingestellt. Dadurch liefern diese Geräte nur bei bestimmten Oberflächen die richtigen Temperaturwerte. Beim Kauf eines Infrarot Thermometers also unbedingt darauf achten, dass der Emmisionsgrad einstellbar ist. Dann stimmen auch die ermittelten Temperaturwerte. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden mit diesem Teil und der Preis ist für die Genauigkeit und den Funktionsumfang unschlagbar. Zu bemängeln gibt es nur, dass das Batteriefach sehr schwer aufgeht und keine Tabelle für den Emmisionsgrad von verschiedenen Materialien mitgeliefert wird, aber die kann man ja auch im Internet finden. Aber dies rechtfertigt keine Abwertung um einen Stern.

Utilissimo, di semplice utilizzo e dalle molteplici applicazioni, che dire di più? Con questo pirometro, a differenza di altri prodotti, si può rilevare con il puntatore laser la temperatura da -50° a +800° quindi utile in molte applicazioni. Lo strumento misura la temperatura ambientale e l'umidità in contemporanea, questo fa si che possa rilevare insorgenza di muffa sulle superfici. Il tutto viene reso ancora più di facile lettura dalla luce led sopra al display (verde,gialla o rossa) che indica nel caso della temperatura una differenza tra ambientale e rilevata o nel caso di temperatura e umidità la presenza o meno di muffa, il cambiamento del colore del led da verde a giallo a rosso avviene con il graduale divario tra i valori rilevati. Questa versione è anche dotata di una termocoppia portatile da inserire sul lato destro dello strumento, con questo ulteriore sensore si ampliano ancora di più le funzionalità dello stesso potendo effettuare misurazioni anche all'interno di alloggiamenti irraggiungibili dal "semplice" laser. Se non bastasse tutto ciò, lo strumento è dotato anche di doppia lampada UV che permette di rilevare eventuali perdite (es. dal condizionatore dell'auto tramite relativo liquido di contrasto). Tutto questo racchiuso in una pratica e elegante custodia portatile e agganciabile alla cintura. Cosa dire di più, un valido e indispensabile strumento utilizzabile in vari momenti e luoghi, dalla cucina al garage, in campeggio o mentre si lavora, o nei più svariati hobby.

Ya tenía una pistola de este tipo y me decidí a comprar esta ya que parecía más completa. Esta da temperatura ambiente y temperatura del objeto que quiere medir. Tiene más opciones pero en mi caso no las veo necesarias. He comparado las mediciones con las que me daba otra pistola y con una pistola térmica profesional y las de esta son bastante precisas, no al nivel de la profesional pero si para un uso doméstico.

Je peux " deviner " certains points de manipulation ...évidement , mais les subtilités techniques me restent à deviner ...telle que l'émissivité de surface ...... on en fait quoi du tableau d'émissivité ? est ce pour faire une correction de mesure ? Dois je également comprendre ( rapport de température de l'appareil ,avec la température à prendre ) qu'il me faut mettre l'appareil dans le milieu ambiant de la prise de température durant 30 minutes avant d'avoir une mesure correcte ?? et que donc en ce jour du 02/01/2017 pour prendre la température du moteur de mon véhicule , je dois me les geler ( - 7°C ) 30 minutes avant d'avoir une mesure correcte ?? Où trouver la notice en Français SVP merci à vous MERCI à ........... Notice explicative en anglais, Elle donne un tableau utile pour chaque type de matière sur l'émissivité : sur de l'inox, si l’émissivité est à 0.95 par défaut, on aura 30 °, en mettant l'émissivité à 0.1 on a 140° (qui est une valeur bien plus proche) + 2 lampes UV (selon la notice, pour la recherche des élément fluorescent ajouté dans des systèmes comme la clim), le phosphorescent ne ressort pas, mais les poils de ma brosse à dent contient des agents fluorescent + utilisation ou non du laser pour pointer + Thermocouple K j'usquà 800° => pour l'instant 740° sur des braises (E=0.95)
