This upholstery repair kit is fantastic! It has everything I need (and more), and it comes in a compact zippered pouch to keep everything in one convenient place. The quality of the pouch itself is a nice surprise and it allows me to store the upholstery tools with my regular sewing things while keeping everything organized. I ordered this kit because it looked like an excellent value and it had everything I needed to save my suede couch. A torn seam in one of the back cushions was growing fast because that's where my dog chills to watch wildlife in the yard. I wasn't going to take away my dog's favorite place to perch, I just needed a sturdy curved upholstery needle to keep the stuffing where it belongs. I'm impressed with the spools of thick thread in a variety of colors, the abundance of needle sizes, threading tools, a thimble ring, and the compact straight scissors! There are also some items that I don't know the purpose of, and because I'm no professional, I haven't taken the time to go down that rabbit hole. I just wanted to fix the couch. The thread is strong and easy to use, and I had no problem getting a curved needle to glide with ease through the suede. I didn't attempt a blind stitch to make it pretty, I just wanted a quick repair and I was able to do that with these tools. After I finished, my husband told me we had a hole in the driver's seat of one of our cars. He asked if I could fix that too. (Why yes, fine sir, I can stitch that right up!) I had plenty of thread colors to choose from to match the seat, and it didn't take long to repair. If you have a simple tear or even a bigger job on your hands, these tools are of excellent quality and the kit has everything I needed for a great price. I don't think I could have found a better deal and superior quality anywhere else. I highly recommend this for novices and people who actually know what they're doing.

I work for a delivery company. The vehicles are mostly well maintained, except several of them have the seats coming apart by the right shoulder area. They are Ram Promaster van's. The foam keeps flecking off onto my clothes and the floor. I decided to buy this kit to sew them up myself. I'm not great at sewing at all, but I did an alright job. I was nervous the thread may not be very strong in this kit, but I put a few smaller stitches in before doing any of the complete jobs, and stress tested them by pulling at the still open seam where I'd just stitched it. None of the stitches released. And I wasn't being nice, I was yanking pretty hard. This of course may depend on your stitching job. I was going very tight with the stitches. This kit also included some scissors that are actually decent. Most small sewing kits usually have a pair of scissors that basically collapse when you try to use them. These scissors, however, are quite sturdy. They are like the sewing scissors they used at the sewing plant that makes the U.S. Militaries uniforms. (one of them) so basically professional. There are lots of other little helpful tools included in this kit. The "thimble" is actually way more useful than traditional thimbles because of the level of control it offers, being able to loop around your fingertip instead of awkwardly sit on the end (I have big fingers). After having found success with the van seats, I found lots of other little things around the house I was able to use this on; The stitching on the edge of my couch seat, the bottom seam of my hot food delivery bag, and the button on my work shorts. (too thick for small needles in most kits). I see now that the price went down by a few dollars a couple days after I ordered it, but its worth the original price I paid. One other thing: I really like the little case it comes in. Its helpful as it not only keeps everything together securely, but its flexible enough to take a bit of abuse inside of a bag without breaking.

A very good set—very complete and useful. It is small, but it contains everything you might need. Very comprehensive and of good quality.

Thick and sturdy thread but very easily bundles up and gets caught in my sewing machine (Singer Heavy Duty). I would suggest buying a thinner thread if wanting to purchase for machine use.

Love the compact case. It’s cute and a great space saver. It has everything you need in a good kit. Would even make a great gift as well for a younger person maybe starting out on their own. Everything feels like good quality inside. Should last for years and years. Was time to replace some of the older sewing pieces I had and so I found this kit, and it had literally everything (and more). For the price you can’t beat it.

This a great kit, it keeps everything in one spot zipped up, not loose in a plastic bag, (I'm telling on myself) I love that it comes with little scissors and literally everything you need! I can throw it in my suitcase when I travel. It is definitely not just for leather! I like the strong thread the most! Thank you for making this, from someone who rarely threads a needle.

This is a nice sewing kit for the price. Abundant amount of good thread and a nice array of different size sewing needles. All in a very nice case. The heavy curved needles work very well through some very heavy and tough material.
