How long does it take to charge a 5000 battery

It took 4 hours to put 4300 ma h in my 5000 power bank on a very sunny midwinter day. My current was around 1ma. I am very pleased. Hope it lasts for a 21 day backpacking trip.

Could two of these panels be wired together in series to help increase the output?

I wouldn't recommend attaching these together unless you know what you are doing. These don't appear to be made with that in mind. The voltage and amperage on these panels (like all solar panels) will change based on the amount of sun, heat, and angle. When wired in series it will increase the voltage. When wired in parallel it will increase the amperage. Diodes should be used if wiring in parallel to prevent one panel from reverse feeding into the other. Otherwise if one becomes partially shaded or performs poorly due a myriad of other reasons a reverse feed of power will occur. Diodes need to be used in a different configuration to stop reverse feeding into the panels if charging a battery or device. Additionally some form of power management DIY or commercial must be considered for any sensitive electronic items and / or batteries.

Is the panel rigid or flexible?

It was just a little bit flexible. But don't buy it. The one I got did Not produce any power and did Not even look like a real solar panel.

Works great! Don't need direct sunlight to charge your device. I have mine on the front window, (comes with 4 rubber suction cup) even when the sun is in the back of the house it still change my stick up camera.
