Does the damper have a spring return mechanism? How does the damper seal with no airflow?

Dear customer, Sorry for the late reply Our damper doesn't have the spring return mechanism. The flap remains closed vertically due to gravity when there is no air flow. The black rubber on the flap can improve the seal when the flap is closed to prevent cold air from entering. Any other questions, feel free to let me know. I hope you will enjoy our product! Have a nice day!

What is the OD of this 6” vent; specifically?

The outer diameter of this 6” vent is 5.7‘’（145mm ）. We just updated the pictures of the product size, thanks for your suggestion!

Do you have a 10 inch x 9.5" size vent?

I’m sorry I don’t know the exact size of the vent I replaced but the old cover was an old plastic one and the new metal one fit perfectly.
