How to Draw Cars and Trucks and Other Vehicles: Step-by-Step Drawings! (Dover How to Draw)

My 7 yr old grandson loved these and promptly followed directions for a few on the blank page next to the step by step.

I found this book fun and enlightening. If you are a whimsical artist or just want to do some sketches for practice, this is a great book for that. Cars, trucks, airplanes, boats....... any vehicle you could think . If you can grab it for a good price, it is well worth it and can be a book that you can go back to over and over again. I enjoyed a different point of view in drawing these different vehicles. It is a simple book and each page is filled with one drawing and there is even a blank page across from the drawing that you can practice.

I bought this for a young relative. As the book cover shows it is VERY BASIC drawings. But I was happy with it because I bought it for a 3-4 year old. I think it would be too simplistic for children who were 6 or 7 or so. Again, as with other Barbara Levy drawing books, every other page is blank so the child can practice. I would rather each page had drawings.

Great for children and grownups

Step by step line drawings. Very easy for my 9 year old, as well as for myself (a 40 something non-artist). This is a good start to encourage his drawing since other books give so many line drawings that he can't follow. He has used this book several times already since Christmas.

my 5yr old has found drawing to be a fun thing to do. He tries very hard to draw things he sees as well as use his imagination. I bought this book to give him a little help in drawing and he loves it! It's good practice for him and he has yet to be tired of the book!

I was looking forward to being able to draw trucks for my grandson but these are pretty basic. Maybe I need to spend the time to figure out more details to add but it wasn't quite what I was expecting.

My daughter (6) enjoys a similar book of drawing animals. When I saw this, I had to get it for my boys! It looks simple and easy to follow. They shouldn't have any trouble picking up the book and doing it by themselves. My oldest boy (4) is just starting to draw instead of scribble. I'll wait at least a few more weeks to get this out.

I've bought other books from this collection and I was disappointed by this one in particular. Drawings are too simple and ugly.
