Good coffee

This is the real thing!
We had great Kona coffee in HI and ordered a number of different brands and beans to try to replicate what we drank there, and this was the winner! Smooth, no acid, great flavor and everyone loves it. I buy it as Xmas and bday gifts for friends & family now as well since it's a no-brainer and is their gift of choice. Some of them go to hilarious lengths to make it last, including rationing the intake of spouses and significant others, etc.

Great tasting coffee
I've cycled through many many varieties of coffee here on amazon and this is probably the best i've had available on this site so far. Definitely a 5-star coffee. If you noticed the 3-star "value for the money" rating that isn't a knock against the coffee or the seller. but let's be honest $60 for any bag of coffee can't really be called a "value". if you're willing to buy real Kona coffee value isn't likely as high a priority compared to quality - and this stuff is quality

Over Roasted
I found it to be over roasted for drip coffee. I used a high end drip machine that makes excellent coffee at exactly the right temp and time over grind. I partially solved the issue by using a finer grind and using slightly more coffee than the golden ratio. Not bad but next time I’m doing a medium roast.

Get this one - I keep getting back to this one
Amazing flavor - full bodied Kona coffee. Literally the best I’ve tasted and I’ve tasted a lot! I’ve tried couple other brands but well, I’m coming back to this one even though it’s the pricier of the lot. I guess I’m one of those who either go for the instant coffee or the best one. Middle is meh.

Compared to 3 other Kona coffees, this is not comparable and doubtful it is Kona
Avid coffee drinker decided to give this a try for the holidays. To me this coffee does not taste like Kona, and frankly has a very poor flavor compared to my usual non-Kona coffees. The caffeine content is extraordinarily high. I drink coffee all day, and I can't drink more than a cup of this without having to stop due to the caffeine. For me this product is mis-labeled and and truly a rip-off at $60. Kona or not, this is not a $60 per pound coffee. NOTE - NOT RETURNABLE ! This is the worst purchase I have made on Amazon in my nearly 20 years on Amazon.

Been unable to find Kona coffee for a year thru local vendors. Nice to have Kona again after so long.
