MRM Nutrition Gainer Protein with Probiotics & Postbiotics - Vanilla Flavored for Men & Women, 25g of Whey Protein Concentrate & Isolate, Micellar Casein, & Digestive Enzymes - 18 Servings

This is the closest thing I've found to an ideal weight gain supplement. Moderate amount of protein, higher proportion of carbs (2 to 1 carb to protein ratio), some relatively healthy fat from sunflower oil, a long list of probiotics and OK flavor. The usual cheap maltodextrin for carbs, and middle of the road whey concentrate, which seems fine for this type of product. Claimed 10 grams of fiber per (admittedly jumbo size) serving. Most of us get more protein than we need, and a lot less fiber, which is probably the most important item mostly missing from the typical American diet. Fairly low in sodium and saturated fat; important for us old guys who are concerned about keeping our arteries open. Hard to assess the taste, since I usually mix it with kefir or oatmilk, a banana and maybe some other stuff. But the vanilla goes down pretty easily for me. It mixes well with my stick blender, but I don't know how well it will mix using less effective methods. All things considered, seems to be a quality product at a reasonable price.

I've tried a few protein and weight gainer powders over the years such as Optum, Met-rx, and Muscle Mass. I'm very thin having difficulty putting on weight (not complaining) and was looking for just that extra bit of supplement to help pack on a little bit of mass after working out. I've also tried both Whey and Egg proteins because I have trouble digesting certain foods, including lactose. None of the ones I've tried in the past made me feel very good after several daily uses, so I would have to stop for a day or two then try again. So concerned with the artificial components of these various supplements, I began looking for a more natural alternative when I came across the MRM All Natural Gainer. This is the first protein/gainer powder I've used where I was able to use daily for a month before running out (twice a day in fact) that didn't make me feel sick after a few days. There are no artificial ingredients at all really, including no artificial sweeteners which can cause havoc on the digestive system. It tastes great, is filling, but not at all overwhelming, mixes easily, and leaves me feeling great. I was concerned about the whey being milk based, but it's not a problem at all. In terms of effectiveness for putting on mass, I did notice an increase of a few pounds in the month I used it. I can't really comment on comparable effectiveness to other gainers, but certainly if you're looking for something to supplement your diet to get that bit of extra help and want something natural that won't destroy your insides and is healthy for you, don't hesitate to give this a try.

I actually use and purchase this powder quite frequently! The taste is actually not bad at all and is not too sweet. I bought this to help gain weight, and it does help! The texture is not bad either and mixes well with water. I recommend also to anyone with a sensitive stomach, as it does not upset mine!

Mixes well in water. Taste is good and doesn't leave any aftertaste. I mix one scoop in 8-10oz of water and just stir it. It has a good amount of protein, and seems to be the most cost effective way to get it, WITHOUT garbage artificial sweeteners, I don't get why a company WOULD try to cut the calories (real sugar) out of a weight gainer, but the big companies all seem to do it. Edit 7/24: I have switched to another source of protein powder, due to a new sweetener ingredient found in this product (on my last shipment of April) that was not in past shipments- and reading the current label here on one of Amazon's little pictured windows, I do not now see it listed. I could not readily identify it, nor do I recall what it was: perhaps it was only this shipment. It seems that companies routinely switch around some ingredients. I deducted one star for this. I am very wary of Stevia "extracts" or derivatives..a little too good to be true. My new protein- Jarrow Formulas All Natural Whey Protein has Lo Han Guo as the sweetener, and to be honest, I am not sure about the uses of that either. All depends on how it is derived. For example, SOY itself is even harmful, or hardly beneficial if not "processed" in the proper manner. I'm a bit paranoid. May give up these protein powders altogether til more info is out about these "new" "natural" sweeteners. I wish these protein powder companies would just add the calories, and use natural sugar.

I blend this so they are no lumps it tastes great and smells great, it's only been a few days so I am waiting for the gain but it's doing an amazing job and it's gentle on the stomach.

Look, people get to the point where they can eat anything they want... and not gain weight. Well, it takes a real lifetime to get there, but it happens, then one gets too skinny! This is the healthiest shake (I know my ingredients!) and best tasting! Your loved one who needs good gut health and great calories will appreciate having these shakes. Easy to fix, nothing to hate! Has worked on SEVERAL of my elderly patients who need weight gain!

I just received the MRM Gainer vanilla protein powder and after making my first milkshake blending one scoop of the mix, one teaspoon of maple syrup and one ice cube i found it to be DELICIOUS ! This mix has just enough of a hint of vanilla that it doesn't overwhelm your taste buds with too much of that taste of "fake" vanilla, which also should make it perfect for blending fresh fruits to your favorite milkshakes. After i had a couple of sips and noticing how the amount of vanilla taste was so subtle i decided to make one of my favorite milkshakes and i added 1/2 avocado to the blend and, again, DELICIOUS ! I have been making avocado milkshakes for years and this combination was the best i can ever remember, never mind all the added benefits of including all that protein, calories and prebiotics. Now, i cannot wait to try it with fresh strawberries, bananas, chocolate powder, blackberries, cherries, etc. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Excellent value and nutritional profile. After searching for a healthy mass gainer for about an hour and a half, I found this and it checked all the boxes (no artificial sweeteners, includes enzymes, not just maltodextrin, favorable protein to carb ratio, good ingredient additions overall, good price, and probiotics - to list a few). The flavor isn't the best but it's not the worst. Mixed in with vanilla almond milk, it's very enjoyable, but with water it would just be tolerable in my opinion. Anyways, highly recommended - especially added to smoothies!
