Rhino Lock Secure Lock - Combination Padlock - Gold 4 Digit Combination Lock for Gym, School & Work Lockers; Suitable for Outdoor Use with Fences, Hasps, Sheds & Toolboxes (UK Brand)

Why I Bought This Lock: I needed a secure, reliable padlock for my gym locker that offered more convenience than fumbling with keys. The 4-digit combination and the promise of a heavy-duty, secure build from Rhino Lock convinced me. The bright yellow colour was a bonus for easy spotting! The Key Strengths (The Pros): Robust and Secure Construction: This lock is built tough. It feels solid and substantial—far from the flimsy locks often sold in bulk packs. The shackle is thick, making it highly resistant to cutting or tampering, giving me total peace of mind in a public locker. Easy and Reliable Combination Setting: Setting my custom 4-digit code was incredibly simple, following the clear instructions provided. The dials click firmly into place, ensuring you know exactly when you've hit the right number. I haven't had any issues with the mechanism sticking. Highly Versatile: The size is perfect for standard gym lockers, school lockers, and work cabinets. The shackle is just the right length—not too long, not too short. High Visibility (Yellow): The bright yellow casing is surprisingly useful. It makes the lock easy to spot instantly among other items in my gym bag and quickly identifies which locker is mine in a crowded room. Keyless Convenience: Never having to worry about losing a tiny key again is the best feature. The 4-digit code offers thousands of combinations for high security. Final Verdict: The Rhino Lock Secure Padlock is a fantastic product. It combines durable, dependable security with the effortless convenience of a 4-digit combination. It performs exactly as a high-quality gym or school locker lock should. A solid, essential, 5-star security purchase!

No complaints, I use it for the gym, not too heavy, not too big, quite durable, and it's very easy to change the code.

This looks like it should be a good luck, unfortunately it’s too fat for the gym locker

Perfect size for lockers. The shackle is sufficiently thick that you can use it with those really terrible lockers where you small shackles don't work (you know the design I mean). Also it needs a screwdriver to turn it into change mode, so there's zero chance of accidentally changing the code like with some other combination locks. I haven't tried cracking it so no idea how resistant to that it is, but I only use it for swimming pools anyway.

Been using this for a couple of months now on an external door and it has held up wonderfully. Rain and shine and not in regular use it still opens smoothly and not issues with the numbers sticking when trying to turn them to the correct combination. Also handy in a bright colour to see where I set it down when I do take it off!

Nice and stong, used for gym locker.

This is outdoors on a metal shed. It's been through all sorts of weather but especially rain and serious cold. It was still useable at - 10°C which was impressive. After days and days of torrential horizontal rain it did stiffen up. I put 3in1 oil down the hole in the top, into the base of the bar where it swivels and turned it over and put some into each number wheel. I span the wheels to get the oil deep inside, I opened and closed it a few times. I wiped off the excess oil and it is now smoother than ever. Only negatives (slight) are that it's not easy to roll the numbers with gloves on. The numbers aren't very clear in the dark and there's a a little surface rust appeared on the bar. Would definitely buy again.

This padlock is quite heavy and looks v secure so I have been very happy with it. Until today when it just randomly stopped working even with the correct combination code, leaving me stuck in a towel by the pool! Thankfully they had bolt cutters so i could get my clothes and car keys!
