It's a liner - seriously I mean what should I say Its a round sheet of paper for the steamer. Use and throw away. It crumples up well. But do use it and like it!

I use this to steam vegetables of all kinds. I bought it to make my chinese pork dumplings. It works perfect for everything I have tried. I will certainly get my money's worth out of this and it is so much more healthy eating the steamed vegetables and more tasty. It is so easy to use and hardly any clean up.
