American Girl: Ultimate Visual Guide: A Celebration of the American Girl® Story

Love this book especially how it gives a little history for each doll. The photos are beautiful. I ordered one for my 9 & 5 year old granddaughters to share as a Christmas present. But when I received it, I immediately ordered another one because I knew they would like it so much it would be hard for them to share.

My daughter saw this at Barnes and Noble and was very excited so I knew it would make a perfect Christmas gift. Found it here at almost half the price plus delivered free to my doorstep. Its lots of pictures and short texts going through the history of the dolls. It was fun to show her what they were like when I was her age and show her the doll I had and all the American Girl books I used to love to read. She really loves it and looks through it often.

This is the best American Girl book we have ever owned. The size is nice and big. Each page is so informative and has lots of fun facts and pictures. It is very well made. My daughter got this for Christmas and is still loving it months later. All 3 of my girls sit together and go through this book very often. It is truly the ultimate American Girl book! It is a must have for any little girl who is as obsessed with American Girl as my daughter is!!!

Gorgeous book that contains all the AG dolls and accessories for AG lovers or collectors. My daughter can see each AG historical character (now BeForever line) and see each piece of clothing, furniture, and accessories that was made for that girl. We buy a lot of AG, but we also make a lot of our own crafts to mimic the AG items to save money. This is our go to book to match our doll rooms up.

This is a Great book for the price! So much American Girl Doll information.

Ultimate Visual guide is a bit misleading. Beautifully illustrated, but looks like they raided the catalog. I realize that not everything can be covered, but there were a lot of things missing. For example there is nothing about the mini dolls, little about the exclusive or limited sets. There is no mention that many of the dolls shown in the book are no longer available from American Girl. And I would have liked to see the special edition sets. Holiday/ Christmas outfits that have been released over the years.

My granddaugher got an American Girl book like this out of the library. We would look at it together as I love dolls, too. Since she had to take it back, of course, I thought I'd order one to keep here at my home so we can look at it whenever we want. This is a wonderful book with lots of pictures and history. We really enjoy it.!

This is a great hardcover book full of information that an American Girl fan will consider a must have. The illustrations are wonderful! Overall a great purchase.

The book contains many details about each "American Girl" and wonderful photos. My granddaughter had received one of the dolls as a birthday gift several years ago and was thrilled to see this book. She enjoys seeing the changes through the years and reading the stories.
