Solid State Logic UC1 Hardware Plug-In Control Surface

I have a SSL board and it’s hard to put into words how much better it is to turn knobs than turn virtual knobs with a mouse… this thing is a tank!It feels like a SSL board when turning and the included plug ins are amongst the best SSL plugins (better than Waves!)It’s a very capable device and looks great on the desk. My only complaint is there isn’t an on off switch. But otherwise, get it!

Very sturdy and well built. The knobs are responsive and make fine tuning easy, it gives you that human touch you're looking for. Unfortunately, the screen at the bottom that shows track/plugin selection information had a defect and there was a line and a purple spot on the screen. I lightly ran my finger around that area and it seemed the glass they put in to cover the screen was installed crooked but I'm not an expert. I couldn't justify keeping it for the price with this issue, so I had to return it.I got an SSL UF8 at the same time and love that. I have had no issues with that item whatsoever and hopefully this specific UC1 was just a fluke.

If you’re reading this, it’s because you want to buy it. I own this unit with the mixer and it’s incredible!!! Like level 100!!! I can’t say enough great things about it!
