Great Ammo
Great biodegradable slingshot ammo. Only a few broken in the whole bag, shoots straigt 90% of the time, other 10% I blame the shot (most likely me ;)

Great beginner/practice ammo
Came in a thick plastic, about 7 mil, bag. No rips or tears in plastic. I didn't weigh or count them before I shot but it seemed like the right amount, I didn't feel ripped off that is. The size and shape are fairly uniform. Where this ammo shines is in practice and learning. I purchased a Simple Shot Hammer XT (Recommended if you don't have a slingshot, with the LT heads) and it has been years, probably decades, since I shot a sling shot. In the process of learning how to shoot one again I hit the frame a couple times, the ammo just disintegrated, it didn't ricochet. I am certain if that were a marble or steel I would have gotten hurt in some way. As far as practice, this stuff is really accurate for what it is. I hit a few plant stems/stalks from 20+ feet away and a 2" pipe from 30+ feet away. Plus it's reactive (breaks apart on impact) and biodegradable! All in all a great buy! TL;DR: great ammo for the price, right amount, great beginner/practice ammo, safer than steel/marbles, accurate. Plus it's reactive (breaks apart on impact) and biodegradable! All in all a great buy!

Effective - a good step above glass marbles.
No dislike here BUT, clay ammo IS sensitive to moisture. Test performed: ammo sample dropped into water. In less than an hour the sample was found disintegrated to a lump of loose mud. Surface glaze dissolved away - keep this ammo dry. Ammo holds close to .5 inch, "fifty caliber", size. Some samples were found slightly large, and some of the samples were found slightly smaller. According to product net weight divided by piece count, each projectile weighs approximately 40 gns (grains). That is same weight as a "heavier" .22 Long Rifle bullet. This weight noted proves this clay ammo specific gravity is heavier than the "glass" used in making like-size marbles. PLUS slingshot test showed superior range and stable flight. With "moisture advisory" note in mind , this is a very good product. Note: terminal ballistic (target impact) test not performed.

Quality biodegradable Ammo
So far so good, I've gone through a full 1000 piece bag. There were about 5-8 pieces in the entire bag that weren't the full 1/2", but they still were generally round and shot fine. I don't recall any cracked, flat spotted, or significantly damaged pieces. They do dissolve in liquid very rather quickly, which is good for biodegradability, but don't let them sit in the sun or get condensation in the bag. It can cause you problems. They're a bit more expensive than steel, but shooting in my back yard, steel isn't an option. These are more accurate and heavier than I as expecting for clay ammo, which is a good thing. I bought 2 more bags and I will likely buy more. I don't see a reason to buy other brands at this time.

Most affordable , price per each, truly usable slingshot ammo
If youre debating these or the smaller 3/8 (9mm) clay sling shot ammo. Choose these. The smaller 3/8th's clay balls are just too light to be viable ammo. They loose velocity too quick, but even more so, the light weight is harsh on the bands, kinda like dry firing a bow. The bands will last longer as these 1/2 are just weighty enough to slow, and smooth out, the shot cycle of the slingshot. Plus, the 1/2 carry much more momentum downrange, helping tremendously with further shots. Now these aren't as good as steel bearings, ( my favorite ) but are much safer and more back yard and kid friendly.

Worthwhile just for convenience and value
I've always been big on just looking for round stones for my wrist rocket, and that will always have a place, but I have converted over to these for most of my shooting. They're the same size as 3/8 steel shot and super convenient. There is an open container of them next to my back door, with a hanging tin cam gallery out the back. These things being biodegradable is pretty awesome as I'm not messing up my soil, which is a concern to me. For my wrist rocket I will always check rocks. However, I recently tried out a Scout, and these flat band slingshots I really designed for homogeneous shot. These clay pellets are the ticket, and I have 3/8 steel shot for if I need to put a grouse out of its misery and onto my dinner plate. I will be ordering them again.

Works great.
Got my daughter a slingshot last summer and these are great i can send her outside with a bag full and not worry about retrieving them or hitting them with the lawnmower.

Took these out with our local Scout group to practice slingshots. We love the fact that they turn to mush when wet, but are hard and fly true in use.

I practiced using these on my first slingshot few days ago! they are awesome quality, and don't deform easily. I've hit them hard and they didn't break. The ammo stay in shape when hitting cardboard boxes. And dissolve in rainy weather no mess. Best price on amazon. I'll order regularly. Thank you so much!

I've ordered 2000 of these twice. One good experience and one not so good. The first order mid 2023 came in a heavy plastic bag and the balls had a chalky/matt finish. They were extremely uniform in size and proper sized. They flew fantastic and were great fun. The second order early 2024 came in mesh bags and the balls had a smooth finish. They were not the same size - they were much smaller than what I wanted and were down to 7mm balls. Huge variability in sizes, and many flat spots etc. Not impressed with the change, but I'm still shooting them and still have fun. The variability has reduced the ability to be consistent in shooting.

These do not come in a nice bag as shown. Just a thick, clear, not-resealable plastic pouch.
