Q: Are there any magnets involved with this toy?

No. Item is all plastic. I had a head injury and in my rehab this was the kind of 'toy' I used in Kessler.

Q: Are the puzzle pieces plastic or wood?

HI - some of the pieces are small and may not be appropriate for a 2 yr old. Thanks! :)

Q: Is this doable for seniors who have memory loss?

I do not mean to be flippant, but it really does depend on how much memory loss the individual has. A puzzle player will need to have enough focus and hand/eye coordination to duplicate a preset puzzle design using all available pieces within a square playing board. It does start with beginner puzzles and then gradually progress to harder ones. Answers are included.

yes, some patterns are easy but most of them are a bit of a challenge for adults also.
