Applied Statistics I: Basic Bivariate Techniques

The book was delivered as advertised. No complaints. It served its purpose.

So I am taking a Statistics class at a doctoral level. I hated stats in undergrad and was hoping that I could take it again someday. As luck would have it, I get to take it now. This book dumbs it down so even I can read it. I am hoping it also helps me pass the class. We'll see.

I have to buy this for school! It came new and clean! The book is pretty thick, but that's a school book for you! The text is very clear and understandable. I wish the books don't costthis much.

I was trying to be cheap and thought the Kindle version would be exactly like the book. None of the sites to the Tables work or there are no Tables in the Appendix at all. Which makes finding the results and summarizing whether the data is acceptable or not impossible. Besides that, the book is just like any other textbook.

Maybe it was just how my course was written but this book wasn’t helpful at all.

The book is highly focused on SPSS, and therefore applied statistics as a subject takes the backseat.
