This isn't a proper review, I just wanted to say that on P.56 Fig 4.4 the Hall and Pedersen labels (sigma H and sigma P) should be switched around, that way they conform to the earlier equations and also the later statements in the book. This mistake caused me some pain during my PhD viva because I understanding was incorrect due to the figure, so this mistake went a long way for me..!
