Rio Gear 48" x 25" Outdoor Camping Aluminum Roll Top Table

Sadly I received a table that was broken and dented. I was not happy about that, so I emailed the manufacturer and asked for the parts needed to fix the table myself. To my surprise, they sent out an entire new table, which I received in about a week. They are a little slow to respond to emails (they took a few days), but they completely wow'd me with their service and showed that they care about their customers. So, despite a rough start, they came through with flying colors. The table is very easy to set up and take down, is fairly light and is well made. I bought it for camping and it works great. I recommend this table whole heartedly.

I spent a lot of time researching portable tables. I use those plastic lifetime tables for several things around the house and camping trips but they were big and my small size didn't hold a lot of weight without feeling like it would fall apart. Camping trips, I'd put cookwear and all kinds of stuff and always felt scared of it falling over. This one feels solid. I sat on it (180 lbs) with no issues. I got it for working on things around the house and camping trips. For working around the house I can throw my miter saw (45lbs) on and it feels solid, old table felt sketchy. Its small to pack and easy to assemble and take down. Definitely happy with the purchase.

Too small for any real use, maybe a kids camping table. Not for adult use, only good feature is it collapses into a small size.

This is a nice, very sturdy camp table. It is well worth the couple of extra dollars that you have to pay for it.

It looks like it will work, and be sturdy. The roll top is rather heavy and awkward to put into place. What I really wanted was a table like the 40 dollar Coleman that is easy to assemble, slats hold up well and are linked tightly. Only twice as large. Anyway this table is sturdy and stable. No flex in the slats when I leaned on them heavily. No instructions included but not really needed. The slats of the rolltop have some play as if the rolltop length was slightly off overall for the anchor points at either end of the frame. The telescoping frame has integral pins for each leg which lock the frame in place when deployed, a nice feature. Further, it would be easy to cut a wood top for it that could be dropped in as easily as the rolltop and not weigh much more (or possibly less) than the issue item. All that said, if you need a table this size and your pet chimp won't be playing with the kids on top of it, suggest consideration be given to a pair of Coleman tables as well.
