The four photo blocks are adorable. Great size, cut a photo to fit slot (make sure to read info…pictures are NOT 4x6 as it is stated). Cut your pic to fit and you’re good to go! My 1 year old granddaughter LOVES to see pictures of everyone including herself! Blocks fit fine in holder they came in. Great personalized gift for a reasonable cost!

These dice are perfect for my preschoolers. I have four kids between 6 and 3 years old to keep busy this summer, so I searched Pinterest for ideas. One of them was to put action and directional words on two dice made out of spare gift boxes, and to do the combination that came out on top (example: "kick/backwards"). Another was to put action and animal words on two dice made from cardstock paper (example: "sing/like a dinosaur"). Both seemed like great ideas but that they'd get destroyed quickly, so I searched Amazon for blocks I could use instead. I found these, which are even better than the wood or plastic I had in mind!They're just the right size for little kids to hold (a large handful for an adult), and the pockets mean that if they get bored of the words I chose I can easily replace them. The papers don't fall out even when tossed. The soft foam shape means I don't need to worry if they throw a bit too hard—no one will get hurt like they might with wood or plastic dice—and they will hold up much longer than thin cardboard or paper would. (Bonus: They're washable!)The negative is because these are foam and made fairly cheaply, they're not perfect cubes. For the most part it's fine, but one of my blocks tends to land on the same two sides. It just means I have to switch around the cards I made on that dice occasionally so they don't always get "monkey" and "dinosaur." For this preschooler activity it's fine enough, or as a photo cube for babies it wouldn't matter at all, but I mention it in case that matters to someone considering these.In case someone wants to copy me, here are the words I put in this time. You can use any words you like though. We have a long distance family and I bought these for our newest crew. Blocks are a must in development and adding in loved ones pictures is fantastic! Vibrant colors, machine washable, 6 sides for photos, nice size for small hands.

I love these as a way to help my little one learn family member names. I had prints made from a website that does 3x3 prints because 4x4 prints are too large.My only complaint is that two of the cubes had a slot that was sewn shut. I pried it open to get a photo in and the seam burst, exposing the filling. I sewed it up and it’s good as new, but I shouldn’t have had to.

Baby isn’t supper into them yet but I love them. We live away from all of my husband and my families. They hold a lot of pictures (I only have 3/4 full). I am just saying who people are and pointing while stacking them. I am just happy that our family wont be total strangers to him and this is a unbreakable way to do that.

2nd time buying these..as we babysit grandkids and a few more are on the way.They are soft no slobber has ever gotten in on the pictures. Great way to teach building face recognition and sweet reminders of mommy and daddy while at work

You have to be flexible with the pictures. I just printed some from family fb pages and resized/trimmed them to fit the slots before gifting. I used pics of grandparents, siblings and pets, some silly, some serious. Anything or anyone I'd like them to know and remember! (I was tempted to fill a block with all pictures of me!) Especially loved ones they don't get to see very often. They are very cute and lightweight, and makes the giver look very thoughtful :)

There are so many possible ways to use these Photo Pocket Foam Stacking Blocks with elementary school students. For vocabulary building activities I put pictures of different objects or category items into each pocket. Students roll the cubes on the floor or table, name the picture on top, and then answer a question about it. Also good for sight words, letter recognition, following directions- you name it! Use two or more blocks and combine words into sentences, add numbers together, or make a silly story. Students can also toss the cubes to each other and name the picture that touches their right or left hand when they catch it. These blocks are sturdy and well made. The pockets are good and snug so the pictures don't fall out. The plastic carrying case is handy too. We are having a lot of fun with these!
