Helmut Sachers Ground Coffee, 500g (500g, Vienna)

This is a strong brew and is exactly what true coffee should taste like. I am addicted to this brand.

Smooth, full bodied and rich.

Finally ground coffee grinds from Austria fresh will buy again.

I am a huge coffee snob, but this coffee has worked for me every time. I’ve used it with moka, pour over, and French press and each time it is a velvety comforting cup.

Note that this coffee is finely ground (almost to powder) that I strongly discourage using a Keurig machine (or something similar) to brew it. The water will not drain out quickly enough and can cause all sorts of mess. Use the traditional coffee filter method. Tastes great. Being ground this fine means you get the most flavor out of it.

Well, I have never been to Vienna. However, I used to absolutely love a Viennese blend sold by Gevalia that was called Cafe Sperl. I enjoyed this coffee so much that it ruined me for all others. Unfortunately, they discontinued that coffee. I continued to drink coffee, but I never enjoyed it in the same way, always knowing there was something so much better out there that I just couldn't have anymore. I searched in vain for a similar flavor for years, and even quit drinking coffee for the past year except on a rare occasion. When I saw this coffee on Amazon, I thought, "Hm, maybe . . . " Alas the search is over. From the moment I opened the vacuum sealed pouch, I smelled the familiar delicious aroma and saw the same texture and beautiful color of finely ground perfection. This is the same as my beloved Cafe Sperl. Once again I have reached coffee nirvana!
