I have owned this item for at least three years and it works perfectly every time. It also has good range.

I don’t grill a lot, so have only used it twice. The second time, using 2 probes, started well but when turning my steak over I got temperature readings that seemed too high. So I based my grilling time on the temperature from one of the other steaks and all turned out well, but still not certain it can be trusted. Also, I put new batteries in the units before the first time I used it and left them in for about 10 days. The batteries were dead before the second use. Now I take them out between uses.

I bought this thermometer to use in my new smoker. I have used it on a chuck roast in the smoker for 10 hours. Worked great. Simple to use and happy with it as my friend said I would be. Dual probes work great for helping to maintain the chamber temp and keep a close eye and get drove crazy when the meat hits the dreaded stall. Seeing that temp stay the same for a couple hours was aggravating but I was glad I could be elsewhere around the house doing things and still have the thermometer with me to keep an eye open on it. Works great worth the money.

I really like this little wireless set. So far it is very accurate compared to my infrared gun and accurate compared to my smokers probe when they are placed side by side.One note, I could not figure out how to manually set a temp alarm. When in your desired meat menu... press and hold the start / stop and then you can change the temp and set an alarm. Does not say this in the instructions and had to fiddle with it.Slight differences in temp in the pictured transmitted vs receiver are just delays on transmission.I have the receiver inside the house about 50' away and no issues.One probe seems to flake out more than the other and I have to move the cable so I will notify the seller and figure out how to register for the 3 year warranty. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I used this 2-3 times after buying last year to cook prime ribs. It has worked flawlessly on Christmas and Thanksgiving. I store it neatly in the box it came in. However, one of the probes just quit working. It's still less than a year old and under warrantee, so I contacted the seller. Got a response: send me your contact info (which they should already have) and I will ship one from CHINA! Estimated delivery: 4 weeks.

Purchased as a replacement for one I have misplaced in a move. This one is a little different but worked well and I like the feature of two probes for two different readings. Can't cook a turkey without a meat thermometer this one served us well for preparing Thanksgiving Dinner. I look forward to using it for other dishes too. Like others have stated both probes are the same length, none shorter for checking ambient temps as noted in the description. Not a problem for me, it is fine like it is. No way to test the accuracy, but the turkey I used it on was cooked to perfection.

I love cooking! I found this to be super easy to use while cooking. I used in the oven a couple times and it is just so easy and convenient to use. You get to have the controller by your side so you can check the temperature and when it is finishes. I was always hesitant to cook meat cause I always wanted to make sure I was cooking it right and the right temperature and with this thermometer it is just perfect for me!!

Just make sure both the monitors are set to either F or C. I didn't realize the first time I used it the one in the oven was set to C and the one I was watching was set to F. Luckily someone else caught it before the turkey dried out. Ive used it for a prime rib roast as well and it worked great!
