Quick setup but inconvenient for laptops
Pros:Quick setup (Plug & Play on Vista)Quick installation (automatic updates within minutes)Decent nightcam (not meant to be a nightcam but you can still see yourself in the dark)The thing most of us take for granted....technical support backed by Logitech.Cons:NOT convenient to clip on laptops since the clip is perpendicular to the camera. Basically it is suitable if you have a shelf. If you clip on your flat screen monitor, it will look directly at the keyboard and no further. The point is, this webcam is only useful if you set on a flat surface or clip on something horizontally for it to be effective.Overall, it looks like a $5 worth of webcam so hopefully, it will last for another 10 years.I got it for $11 with shipping so I can't complain. If you pay over $20, you pay too much for this type of quality.

Great for the price
I bought this for my cheapo laptop. It works fine and has found uses with two of my desktops and my laptop. I'm quite pleased with the purchase.

Good for its time, but...
Good for its time, but it's archaic and obsolete now. besides you can buy newer and better for less money.
