This is a counterfeit drive, you can barely buy drives that are a tenth of the size for the same price and there's a clear reason for that. This drive will show up and appear to function as a 1TB drive, anytime you put files on it they will look like they are on the drive but when you try to use them or remove the drive they are not there.The same thing happens with portable hard drives as well, they use a small amount of storage, when that is full it just starts overwriting the data already there while keeping the placeholder for the file. If you look at prices of other items that are comparable and they are 10x the price, you didn't get a good deal you probably got scammed.
