The best night time cough medicine. However it has gotten too expensive to use.

Very Effective!
I had my doubts before trying this cough syrup but I'm so glad I did. I have nothing bad to say about it. It helps my cough and bronchial problems and helps me sleep. I consider it quite a find and will continue using it when I get my frequent bronchial episodes.

Lost one star purely cause it tastes like Satan made me drink it as punishment
Does this product work? Absolutely yes. Is it hands down the FOULEST thing I’ve ever put it in my mouth? ABSOLUTELY YES. Honestly I have to brace myself each night before taking this. I have to sit there and mentally prepare myself for the putrid onslaught I’m about to endure. I don’t know what in it makes it taste so horrible. It is truly, insanely, disgusting. HOWEVER, my coughing stops, my sore throat stops, and I sleep through the night. So I will continue to torture my tastebuds because as gross as it is, it’s well, well worth it.

LIFE SAVER!!!
I have used this for something like 30 plus years I think. I know it was when it first came out, way before the computer. I often need a little bit (I put a squirt thingy on it) many nights while sleeping when I cough from dust or my medications. I am a homeopathy user. I realize the red dye is not necessary nor healthy. I make believe I am back in childhood when we were given cough meds with grape or cherry flavor. Again, not healthy, but thats what we had. If this ever goes out of stock for good, I will buy the individual pellets for each remedy in there, put them in distilled water, and add something like glycerin or alcohol to preserve it. I dont know if it will work but I love this stuff. Its a life saver!

Unpleasant flavor.
Compared to other brands, this one has the worst flavor. I appreciated the fact that it did not contain artificial colors.
